నడిచే శృంగార వీణ,
నీ తడి కురుల చిక్కుల్లో,
బంధీనై నే జీవించగా...
జాలువారే నీ వాలు జడ,
కొప్పున జాజిమల్లెల సువాసన,
సత్యభామనే తలపింతువులే,
ఆ కోపతాపాల నే సేదతీరగా...
పులకించెనే మది ఆ శృతిలో,
కవ్వేనే నీ మాటల సడిలో,
కనుల వెలుగులు, పెదవి విరుపులు,
మురిసె చెక్కిళ్లు, మెరిసే నా లోగిళ్ళు...
I lay awake,
In the middle of the night,
Heart seems to long,
And the moon seems to laugh.
I don't know what goes on in your head,
But, I am lost in my thoughts.
The thoughts of why,
We can't stay together,
At loss of words,
Emotions well up,
And the tears don't seem to drop.
I needed a distraction,
But then came you,
Why does fate be so cruel,
It lays the heart bare,
Shows that it is possible,
But not something I get..
Can I cry, just once,
Drain the feelings out,
Go crash my life,
Knowing all along...
I am a soul of the wind,
And so shall I fly,
In the moment,
Not on my own accord,
Lands far and dry,
Searching for another smile..
